Take the day off on Election Day! In only three short weeks, one million Massachusetts voters will decide on the Budget for All Referendum, and many of them will not be clear about it before walking into the polling places. We need volunteers to hand out palm cards or flyers at the polls to reach out to those voters as they walk in.
Does your town have a plan for Election Day? Find volunteers to cover the polls, particularly at the heaviest times, 7-9am and 4-8pm. Post rally signs near the polls and hand out materials to voters. For more info or to sign up: budget4allmass.org/election-day.
Have you seen the new flyer design? This eye-catching flyer is great for reaching out to voters. Contact Paul Shannon at AFSC (firstname.lastname@example.org, 617-623-5288) and tell him how many copies you need and what town(s) they will be used in (so we can fill in the right question number).
We still have some rally signs left! Hold them on street corners, post them in yards, and post them up opposite polling places on the morning of election day! Contact email@example.com or call 617-354-2169 and tell us how many your group needs. A donation of $1 per sign will be appreciated but not required.
Welcome to the Cooperative Metropolitan Ministries, an alliance of 100 Boston area congregations to do social justice work. CMM endorsed the Budget for All this week!
Donations are urgently needed to print more materials. Make tax-deductible donations online using the link at www.budget4allmass.org (in the lower left) or send checks to Mass. Peace Action Education Fund, 11 Garden St, Cambridge, MA 02138; write “Budget for All” on your check.
